The protagonists
[01/02]
Achille
Achille is an enterprising young man with a great passion for technology and circuits, who also maintains all the robots and machines on his family's farm. But the fear of remaining a maintenance worker on the farm forever haunts him.
He looks again and again at his grandfather's old solar-punk project — a genius and inventor — and hopes to become like him.
[02/02]
KiPI
KiPI is Achille's faithful companion, an affectionate kitten he never parts with. When he becomes the victim of an accident with some machinery repaired by Achille on the farm, Achille is forced to buy a random avatar to help him recover his psychomotor abilities.
But the avatar is, precisely, random — and so KiPI becomes a kind of talking conscience: cynical, a bit of an ass, ready to remind Achille how naive and, sometimes, a little foolish he is.
